Latest Experiments

I've been playing around with what I'm dubbing as 'waintings'- weavings + paintings. I'm currently working on a new series titled "Weakest Link..." Excited to see what it becomes!

Inspired by the idea of a woman president in the United States, I played around with this image and concept. It's a tiny piece made with watercolors and acrylic markers, but I may make it a large scale painting later. Hope is a beautiful thing... 

Experimenting with textiles is giving me so much life! In my latest experiments, I've been using quilting concepts to create 'art quilts/piecings'. Because I don't need the pressure associated with the official quilting process, I'll come up with a new name for my creations later! 

More fun with textiles! I used a tufting gun for the first time and created this beauty. Planning to play with this medium more...
